The purpose of Scouting is to contribute to the development of
all young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.
At 1st Brill we aim to offer Scouting to as many young people as possible. Here boys and girls age 6 to 14 yrs, have fun, find friendship and challenge themselves at our Beaver Colony, Cub Pack and Scout Troop.
Regular meetings for all sections (Beavers, Cubs and Scouts) include a variety of activities and experiences. We also hold annual camps away, day events, competitions with other Scout groups and much more. The young people often work in teams and will have many opportunities for leadership and responsibility.

Grown ups have as much fun, friendship and challenge as the children - as leaders, helpers, Group Executive Committee members, headquarter maintainers, fundraisers or by offering skills or knowledge at meetings and in badge work.
